Roger Edwards

For over 20 years, I have been on a journey to understand what helps people heal and thrive. Along the way, I have earned master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology, Physical Therapy, and Applied Positive Psychology, as well as a background in Kinesiology and certification as an Athletic Trainer. My work with local athletes, professional teams, and U.S. national teams has taught me one thing above all: mental, emotional, and physical health are deeply connected and lasting change happens when we address the whole person.

I help people who are struggling with musculoskeletal pain, as well as general health conditions, that just are not resolving, and who are open to exploring how stress, emotions, and past experiences may be a part of the picture. I also work with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and those seeking personal growth or peak performance.

My approach blends client-centered and existential (humanistic) therapy with tools from CBT and the science of positive psychology, creating a space for both healing and growth. If you’re ready for a therapy experience that connects mind and body, addresses the whole person, and meets you where you are, I would be honored to work alongside you.

For in person visits, I meet with clients at the Northville location and I am available for telehealth for anyone in Michigan. Please feel free to reach out: roger.edwards@arborwellnesscenter.com or 734-355-0688.
