Before we can fully understand what someone is experiencing, we have to understand the person experiencing it.
Hi, I’m Kimberly.
This belief is at the heart of my approach to therapy. I believe people deserve a space where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted without having to arrive with everything figured out. My style is warm, down-to-earth, collaborative, and curious. Rather than assuming I know what an experience means to you, I want to understand it alongside you within the context of your life, relationships, health, identity, values, and the experiences that have shaped you.
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, mood concerns, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, caregiver stress, and serious and persistent mental illness.
I have worked across multiple settings including outpatient mental health, psychiatric inpatient hospitals, and primary care offices, providing psychotherapy, crisis, suicide and health-behavior interventions. My experience also includes psychological assessments for ADHD, organ transplantation, bariatric surgery, and spinal cord stimulation, as well as groups addressing insomnia, CPAP adherence, tinnitus, tobacco cessation, and (peri)menopause.
I am honored to walk alongside you through experiences that can be deeply personal and transformative.
I strive to offer a safe, affirming space where you can show up as you are and approach even the difficult parts of your experience with curiosity rather than judgment. Life can bring seasons of change, uncertainty, loss, and unexpected challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next.
You do not have to carry everything alone, and you do not have to have everything figured out before you begin.
